Making Effective Presentations
Workshop Outline
Many people are required to make format presentations from time to time in the course of their work. This can be a daunting experience for those who have not learned the techniques of making effective presentations, yet the successful achieving of information in this way can be a rewarding and powerful means of influencing others. Fluent and persuasive delivery does not come easily to everyone, but confidence, skill and success can be dramatically improved by training.
Workshop Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Undertake the selection and analysis of material prior to the delivery of the presentation.
- Prepare a presentation appropriate to the subject matter and to the needs of the audience.
- Select appropriate visual aids and prepare material for them.
Deliver a presentation using basic visual aids. - Maintain audience interest by the application of proven presentation techniques.
Who Will Benefit
Anyone who as part of their jobs address meetings or make presentations and wish to develop their skills in front of an audience. No previous experience will be assumed.
